Assure is where teams verify that governance measures exist, operate, and are supported by evidence.
Assurance methods
- Controls describe what should be implemented.
- Assessments provide structured, broader reviews such as a DPIA.
- Control Tests verify one control's operating effectiveness.
- Human Reviews apply expert judgment.
- Technical Evaluations measure system or model behavior.
- Evidence supports the conclusions reached by any of these methods.
How to use it
- 1Open Assure from the governed AI System or Project.
- 2Choose the activity created by the Governance Plan or other approved scope.
- 3Assign ownership, perform the work, and link reviewed evidence.
- 4Record results and create a Finding when assurance identifies a deficiency.
