AI System Governance Plan
The Governance Plan determines what governance work applies to a particular AI System and explains why.
Governance Plan determines WHAT applies. Frameworks explain WHY. Assurance verifies whether the expected measures exist and work.
Generate the plan
AIGovernr uses recorded system facts, classification, jurisdiction, framework context, data, affected people, autonomy, vendors, lifecycle, and additional adaptive answers. Known facts should not be requested again.
- Adaptive questions request only missing information needed by applicable rules.
- Generated work can include DPIA, human-oversight review, controls, evidence requests, technical evaluation, approval, and monitoring.
- Rule traceability explains why each activity was generated.
Review and accept
- 1Review generated activities and their rationale.
- 2Exclude an item only with a reason; exclusions remain in governance history.
- 3Accept the plan to establish the current scope of work.
- 4Assign or execute activities through the appropriate assurance or workflow surface.
Regenerate after change
When system facts or classification change, regenerate the plan and review added, removed, and changed activities. A new plan does not erase the prior accepted state or its rationale.
