AI literacy
Give the people on the staff register short AI training that fits how they work with AI, record training they did elsewhere, and keep a register of it.

The programme
- Under the EU AI Act (Article 4), organizations that provide or use AI take measures to give their staff, and others using AI on their behalf, a sufficient level of AI literacy. The AI Literacy page records those measures. On its own it doesn't show compliance.
- Choose the built-in modules to use, how many days people have, and how often they take them again (every 6, 12 or 24 months, or never). Each module is for the people whose AI exposure it fits: AI foundations is for everyone; Human oversight of high-risk AI for people who operate or oversee high-risk AI; Protecting data when using AI for people who use AI tools or build AI; Building and changing AI responsibly for people who build AI.
- Preview shows a module as staff see it, with the quiz answers marked for you.
How people complete it
- Each person sees their modules on their own page, from their personal link. They read the module and answer a short quiz; three in four right (or better) passes and records the training. A miss explains the questions they got wrong, and they can try again.
- Training done elsewhere, such as a course in your learning system, can be recorded by hand or imported from a CSV (email, title and date, plus optional provider, reference and the modules it counts for). It counts for the modules you say it covers.
- Each person's status per module is Complete, Due, Overdue, or Expired when it is time to take it again. Email everyone outstanding sends each of them a reminder with a fresh personal link; their earlier link stops working.
- Every training record is signed when it is made. Download register gives the whole register as a CSV. Records people passed themselves can't be removed; records the team added can be.
- Signed register (PDF) gives the register as a PDF with a verification code. Its verification page confirms who made it, what it covers, how many rows it has and that the file is unaltered, without showing anyone's name. The PDF itself names people, so keep it confidential.
Where the figures show
- People whose AI exposure is Operates a high-risk AI system or Oversees AI decisions, and who are linked to an AI system on the register, are that system's operators. The system's Overview shows Operators trained, and its next step asks you to train them when the system is high risk.
- The project's next actions name operators of high-risk systems without training and people overdue on training. People overdue on training are also work for whoever last set up the programme, in My Assignments and on the calendars.
- Reports state how many people are asked to train and how many are trained (a report about one AI system counts its operators), and Truth & versions shows when those figures change. Board packs and, if you choose, the trust centre show the same figures as counts only.
